Amanda Parris Awarded Toronto Arts Council Grant

Exciting news!

Amanda Parris has been awarded a Toronto Arts Council (TAC) Playwrights Grant to develop the script for Other Side of the Game!!! After years of applying for grants on behalf of organizations such as Lost Lyrics and collective projects for T-Dot Renaissance, this is her first time ever applying as an individual artist to one of the art councils.  She is incredibly humbled and thankful for the support.  The Playwrights program supports the creation of new works or works-in-progress for stage or radio plays. So much thanks goes out to the TAC jury and congratulation to all of the other playwrights who were also awarded.
